Jewel Egerton, 88, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2006.

Jewel was born Oct. 11, 1917, in White Flat.

She devoted her life to her family and church. Jewel was a member of First Assembly of God Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and a director of the Ladies Auxiliary.

She loved playing the piano and singing.

Survivors: Husband, Tom Egerton; sons, Thomas Egerton and wife, Charlotte, and David Egerton and wife, Janine; grandchildren, David Egerton and wife, Gail, and Shawn Egerton and wife, Melissa; great-granddaughter, Trinity Egerton; one brother; and two sisters.
