What is an online burial?
Online burial is the idea that instead of physically burying your loved one, you can create an account at GoGreenMemorials.com for all family and friends to gather to reflect and remember the deceased’s life, while the family makes private arrangements for the final resting, be it cremation or other means.
If you don’t actually take in the body, why do you call yourself a cemetery?
We want to change people’s perception of what a cemetery is – no longer a physical location for burying someone, but rather a plot in a “digital graveyard”. Our goal is to have all family and friends gather online versus at a funeral or wake, and to keep that connection over the course of time.
What is included in the “digital plot”?
With an account, you can setup a custom headstone on your choice of backgrounds, leave a brief eulogy or account of the person’s life, post photographs, and post the first flowers, or note free of charge next to the headstone in remembrance. You will also be able to invite others to create an account and link to the gravesite.
I’d like to sign up for an account. How do I get started?
Simply, click on the “create an account” link located on the top of each page. You’ll be stepped through the account creation process, where upon signing up you’ll be able to create a gravesite from the Account Portal, if desired.
I have an account, now how do I link to an existing gravesite?
From the home page, click on find your loved one in the menu bar. On the search page, you can look up existing gravesites using the deceased’s name, location of death, and/or date of death. Once they are found, you can click on their name to send a request to the grave site owner, and upon confirmation you will see their gravesite listed in your Account Portal.
I’m having a problem with my account. How do I contact Customer Service?

Customer Service can be reached by filling out an Inquiry Form, or by sending an email to support@gogreenmemorials.com. When sending an email, please include
the account number you are having an issue with. The account number can be found in your
Account Portal.

I’d like to cancel my account. How do I do that?
From the Account Portal, you can click on the Tools link, and select Cancel my Account.
